Hi ladies! I was back for bw/us today for the fouth day this week and I go back tomorrow. They said this morning that my follicles needed one more day, so tomorrow I will find out if I go in Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday for inseminations. I am feeling really bloated from the follistim at this point. Also, the cyst I had removed from my left ovary in March is beginning to recur...ugh! I think after all of this I am just going to have that ovary removed. It will probably continue to be a problem and it's uselss anyhow. They said at this point it is okay to be in there, but they will keep an eye on it.
I hope you are all doing well!! Fill me in & good luck!!!

Juniper, As it turns out, I will be joining you in the insemination department. This month was a testing cycle for me (clomid challenge) all my levels came back good and because of the clomid, I have three wonderful maturing follicles. They are not going to waste the cycle. I go in Wednesday for b/w and u/s and probably Thursday for insemination. After 6 failed IUI's, I have no idea why I am excited about it. At least I feel we are moving forward.

Thanks Ladies!! I went for bw/us this morning (again) and they said the right side was ready. I just did my shot of Ovidrel (NOT as easy going in as the Follistim) and tomorrow my appointment is at 9:45, same on Wednesday. I took tomorrow off to just lay around and relax. I am not so hopeful since they feel IVF with ICSI is what we need, however, at least we can move on to that per the insurance co after this. My husband, however, says he has a "feeling" so I will humor him. I guess you never know. My cyst is 3cm now and I just want to get this done before it grows more and I have to have another surgery.
Best of luck to all of you!!!
Wantsbaby2- good luck!! Keep me posted. I will say prayers for us tonight!!!

Good Luck to both Juniper and Wantsbaby2... let us know how the IUI's go.
I just had my first IUI's last weekend... they are painless and well.. at least you feel like you are doing something!
And remember.. it is always good to at least go through an IUI before anything else so that your REs can monitor how your body reacts to the meds, etc. Good luck.. keep us posted!
37 yrs. old, DH is 39 -- TTC for a year and a half.. One blocked tube. Completed two IUI's (both on 1050 iu's of Gonal-F). BFP Sept. 28. Annabel born on June 7th - 1 day after my official due date!!
Thanks Baby4us, Good luck with your 2ww. Wishing you lots and lots of babydust! Keep us posted!
Meg, You are so sweet. Thank you so much for the prayers. After 2 cancelled IVF's and 6 failed IUI's, you would think that I wouldn't let myself get so excited. But is think it's just the fact that we are doing SOMETHING instead of waiting around. AND, my estrogen levels are good this time around, So we'll see what happens. We were just doing a clomid challenge test, I didn't expect the IUI. My hubby was really happy that at least we might have a tiny tiny bit of hope this month. I know I will probably have those hopes dashed at the end of the month! I will just have to keep myself in check. Anyway, I am rambling.....so I will stop!

Ladies, I hope all goes well for you. I understand how you feel wantsbaby2, I am having to wait until January for my cycle and I hate it, but know it will give us the best chance possible. When it comes time I know I will feel hopeful yet guarded....mixed emotions. I guess all of our emotions are on a rollercoaster through these things. I truly hope you all get positive results and we all have our dream babies soon.

Juniper and Wantsbaby2, Best of luck! It would be wonderful to read that things worked out for both of you.
Sylvia and 44, I hope and pray that January is the month for both of you. The month that begins your success stories. And 44, anyone that says you are too old to have a child is an idiot. Sorry but I just get so annoyed with that kind of thing. I think I mentioned before that my own sister said I'll be "an old lady" giving birth. Boy, that was nice, huh? I just smile to myself. No one knows how we feel inside and I was a young mother and although I think I did a great job, there's something special about being older and going through this. More secure in life financially and emotionally, more stable in general. More mature which makes for better decisions. And yes, we'll be younger because of having a young child or children. Karen

Hi ladies, Well I just got back home from my IUI and I am gonna put my feet up for awhile before I have to go into work. Let's hope this one is a winner. No one would be more surprised than me if it works.
How did your IUIs go Juniper? Hopefully by some miracle it will work for you too!
