My Semenaslysis indicates that i suffer from Oligospermia. Could you please tell me what kind of condition this is and what remedy can be used to solve the problem.

Secondly now that ihave read that HSG is nolonger viable as a means to detect blockage of the fallopian tubes what is the latest technology concerning this problem?

Oligospermia is low sperm count.  There are also other problems we see, if the semen analysis is done properly.  When I discover a male factor problem, and there is one present in almost half of infertilie couples, I send the men to a sub specialist who is actually trained to do male fertility work.

A properly done HSG is the least invasive and very reliable test to detect tubal obstruction.  A sonohysterogram is NOT.

For mor information, I invite you to visit our web page at <www.texasfertility.com>.

Good luck.
