thanks for the birthday wishes girls...dh took the day off from work and we spent the entire day together...he took me shopping  then we had lunch at a really fancy restaurant...the food was great but dessert was divine!- warm godiva chocolate souffle cake with chocolate dipped strawberries on the side  - then we went to the movies - we saw Made of Honour - it was so romantic and funny - i really enjoyed it.  it was a really nice day.

Lyly, our birthdays are exactly one month apart! One of my best girlfriends is also a gemini  it's so great that things are falling into place for you...looks like you and Marina will be on the 2ww together and Beth as well.  I cant wait for you girls to join us.

By the way, ialso have the antiphospholipids and my doctor had me on Clexane shots from the day after egg recovery.  I am off them now because of the bleeding but i am on baby aspirin.  They are considering me high risk because of the clotting so i am really taking it one week at a time...i cant wait for each weekend because that means baby and i have made it through one more week.

Ronda, Lisa...we're hitting the 14w mark..whoo hoo! Ronda, how are you feeling these days?

Hey Jules...the multiples are the minority (lol)- you, Debbie, Ronda and I are all singleton's but if you count Lisa's two and Jen's three...i guess they outnumber our singletons! Ha Ha!

Hey Beth, welcome back!

Lots of Love girls,
Reshma

Reshma - Happy Belated b-day. When was it?

Lyly - Thanks for being excited for us. I believe you will have your turn shortly. I have faith.  You have had the best attitude as well.

Jen - What is a perinatologist for? I hear girls from my chat use the term. Were you able to check out the chat I listed?

Not much here. I walked this morning for 60 minutes. Now, it's time for work.

Reshma - Thats funny.  We will have our hands full!

Um, Jules yep I went to the chat, there are so many women on there with triplets! WOW! Thank you I will lurk for a while.

A perinatologist handles high risk pregnancy and deliveries.  Not just for multiples, but even with a singleton, some older women and if your child will have downs syndrome or other complications.

I can not go to a regular OB, they wont take me.  So I finally found one last night, I will call them in an hour and make sure they are taking new patients.

Morning sickness kicking in bad this morning.  Uggghhh. I wish I was still in bed!

Do you check out the chat I amon? I think there is only 1 at the moment having triplets. We were very shocked. but if you know your due date you can find a chat that says multiples for the month you are due. babycenter is a Great tool for chats!

Lyly- I am soooooooo excited for you.  I really wish you much success with this try.  I feel like I know you and we have never met.  I am really praying for you.  Us New Yorkers we are strong and can make it through to get what we want.  I know you will have a happy ending.

Reshema- Happy belated B-Day.  Yesterday was my dd birthday.

Jen- Your ticker is so cute I love it.  My friend saw a perinatologist with both her pregnancies.  She had twins the first time and a singleton the next.  She had an incompetent cervix.  So it is a great idea to see one with triplets, it will help you have a more successful pregnancy.

Julie- It must feel great to be under the 100 day mark.  I am looking forward to 140 just so I can say I am half way there.

JasJulesMom - Congrads on making it half way. I remember being excied just to make 9 weeks. Now I am looking forward to being 30 weeks. All my friends are 36+ weeks and I am so envious of them...

JenFrancis - I found you on the IVF chat.  They don't post as often there as here - plus you don't get an e-mail notifying you that someone new posted.

I feel so left out...lol you guys have been busy this am chatting.  I'm busy at school but thinking of you girls and glad everyone is doing well!  I remember being excited to hit 9 weeks too!  Now I am going on 14 with Ronda and Reshma!  yipee!!!  I swear I am feeling funky things in my belly already and I am not sure that it is actually gas. hmmmm

Reshma, that movie looks so cute.  Glad you had a good birthday!

Jen, good luck with the m/s honey.  I was lucky to have none.  I suggested those sea bands that you use for motion sickness as I have heard those work but I don't think they had helped Ronda was it?  Try this out: It is cool to see the dates of when things will happen for your little ones.

Julie, wow!  only 98 days to go girl!

Lyly, soooo glad it's Friday!!!   they are looney today.

Hi girls.

So much going on. I love reading these posts. I feel like I know all of you and like JasJulesMom said, we have never met.

Happy belated birthday Reshma. Sounds like you had such a nice day.  I hope I'm pregnant on my birthday and dh and I can do something similar (my bday is at the end of August).  I'll be 39. I hate how much age affects the fertility stuff.  When the RE told me that I was going to have to do egg donor b/c of my age, it was so upsetting.

Lyly - very happy to hear that things are moving along and that our FET's are going to be close together. I hope you, Marina and me end up on the same day or just a few days apart. It will be nice to go through this with you guys. I'm not sure if I'm ready for the 2ww again.  However, I am looking forward to having that time to rest as work has been so crazy lately that having a few days off will be nice.

JenFrancis - did you get in touch with the RE? Are they taking new patients?

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Lisa - Do you work at a school or you a student?

Beth - Is this going to be the first time that you use a egg donor?

Julie - we did egg donor for the 1st time in April (fresh cycle).  We transferred 2, but neither took.  However, we were able to freeze 5 blastocysts and I hope that we can thaw 2 good ones (and maybe have a few still frozen for the future).  We are really hopeful for this cycle - I think that we are now prepared and really understand what's happening. The 1st time we were new to this (not only was it our 1st time with egg donor, but our 1st transfer since we never made it this far beforehand).

Has anyone else here done IVF with an egg donor?

Beth - I have never done IVf with a donor - but there is someone in my other chat who got pregnant from a FET. My lab shows a high success rate by using a donor.

ok...i guess it didnt show up...anyway, I was venting...

as i mentioned before, my mom and i arent speaking right now but my dad keeps trying to get us to speak to each other.  He tells me i should forgive her but she did something really mean and i am not ready to forgive her yet.  Jules, she's a bit like your sister...everything is always about her...even when i was a child sometimes i felt like the parent and she was the child...she has to be the centre of attention..she is 60 yrs old but likes to think she is 30...she's always comparing herself to me and my sisters and never misses a chance to tell us that someone told her she looks more like our sister than our mother....for crying out loud!   Plus she is always getting herself into difficult situations, financial and otherwise and expects someboby to bail her out...I am tired of rescuing her and she never appreciates it anyway.  Yesterday my dad told me she wanted to come and see me and i told him i didnt want to see her....just being around her right now upsets me and i dont want to be surrounded by negative vibes right now....am i being selfish and unreasonable?
