High Prolactin Level

I'm due to start IVF soon.  I'm going to be 35 in a month.  I was told I have diminished ovarian reserve - antral follicle of 6.29 - he said they like to see 10.  He said my right was 2.9 and my lef was 4.6.  my husband sa was completely ok.

my question is that they say my prolactin level is high - the first two bloodtests it came back at 26 the last one came back at 29 - they like to see it at 25.

is that really high?  they called in some medication for me that i'm supposed to be on for 5-6 weeks.  I haven't gotten my protocol yet - next week - and am supposed to do IVF the very next cycle.  I'm just concerned about the prolactin level as well as the diminished reserve and wanted to know your thoughts on both.

thank you.

Your prolactin is only slightly elevated, and with the progesterone supplementation you will be receiving, it should not be a problem.  There is no relation between your prolactin and the antral follicle count.
Good luck.
