Hi I am new to this site and am hoping I can talk with someone about what I am going through and what you have experienced. I have been TTC for 4 1/2 yrs. I work at a Children's Hospital and love my job but can be very sad :'( at times. I have had very poor care for 2 years of my journey and needed to take a break after being on Clomid for 16 mos. straight. I think that is enough to drive anyone crazy. My husband and I decided to go back to a new physician who was the first to do any blood work and US while on clomid. Attempted 3 IUI without success He has since referred us to a reproduction specialist. My first appt was last week and of course he said he would be able to get me pregnant with a new regimen of medicaitons. This bothers me when Dr's say "we'll get you preg." I have heard too many times and nothing has worked I truely feel hopeless that anything will work.....has anyone taken clomid for a long period of time then switch to Follistim and HCG with success?
