Hey Lisa
I used to have problems with low progesterone.  They always wanted mine to be above 20, but I am not sure how low is too low.  My first miscarriage was suspected to be due to low progesterone so I am always worried about it.  What supplement are you on?

Lisa -

I was on the oral prometrium during my last pregnancy.  I'm assuming your doc told you to take it right before bed.  Seriously...take it right before bed.  It made me really dizzy and tired almost right away.  My doc said to take it while I was already in bed.  I didn't listen and figured it was no big deal.  I fell down the stairs I was so disoriented.

7.5 doesn't seem taht low though.  Especially if they want you to be at 8.  During my last pregnancy I was low but I was 6 at 7 weeks.  My doc wanted me at at least 15 my 7 weeks.

Keep your spirits up.  When is your next b/w?  I think your progesterone doubles just like the beta.

Daniella-

Thank you.  I have to say i have been kind of freaking out; I am actually going to call the nurse at 900 when they open the lines at the clinic.  I miscarried last year and the though really scares me> i go to get my beta on thursday.  Today is my day off. thank g-d.  I HATE PROMETRIUM.!!!!!!!  Last time I took it I went to put my boots on and fell flat on my face lol.  then one morning i flipped my hair over after a shower and fell flat on my face.. lol.  Last night woke up at 400 am and really did not fall back asleep.  I am wondering if my projesterone was low why was i just on suppositories and not shots.  that is a question I will ask.  How are you doing.  how are you feeling?

I was told any progestrone level 10-12 would cause a m/c.  Its weird that you are on promitrium i use to take it for ten days a month to induce my period

How is everyone feeling?

Lisa - any word from the doc on your progesterone?

Michelle - How are you feeling?  When is your ultrasound?

Lindsay - when is your beta?

Meg -

How are you doing with the last few days of this wait?  It is getting harder and harder everyday for me!  I keep telling myself the 22nd is around the corner.  I'm gonna try to stay very busy this weekend.

Daniella -

It is very hard - it is all I think about.  Work keeps me busy and I am going away this weekend.  I am thinking about taking off of work on Monday - I dont want to be there either way but it would keep my mind off the results.

Are you working Monday?  What do you think?

Stay positive!  Meg

Meg -

I am working on Monday.  I think if I didn't I would be sitting by the phone all day.  I know at work I will be distracted.  My husband won't let me take a hpt but I am dying to.  I don't know if I'll be able to hold off til monday.  If you have a BFP do you plan on telling people right away?  Many of our friends and family know that we were going through IVF so we told them we wouldn't have any results until the end of Oct.  We wanted some extra time for the results to sink in no matter what they are.

What do you do for work?
