Quote from: lisa13 on 10/12/07, 20:51 Wolffie, I have been married 3 year to the best guy in the world. how bout you?
I am actually not. I am on prenatal; baby asprin and endometrin and that is it. Are you? If so how does that work?
I actuall had a ultra sound at the BG office; Marut is also in FCI. Anjabelle who is on this forum also went to the hp for her transfer; Isnt that a crazy coincidence.
I work at Enaz next to Country Kitchen. what do you do
Lisa -
I actually just got married in June. We have been together for 8 years and living together for 4. We knew we wanted to try for kids right away since my gyne said we may have difficulty due to my endometriosis. We conceived right away...before the wedding....but then had the ectopic.
I am on prenatal, baby asprin, endometrin, progesterone injection (every 3 days), and Vivelle dots - which is the estrogen. I'm not exactly sure how they work or what they are supposed to do. I wonder how the docs decide who is on what med regime.
I am a school social worker in Elmwood Park with 7th and 8th graders. What grade does your husband teach?
Is country Kitchen still accross from the movie theater? How long has Enaz been there? I don't think I remember it. My parents moved out of HP to the city this past summer. I didn't really get back there much.

You have to go to Italy! Have you been before? It's beautiful and relaxing and the food is great! I was there over the summer. So you can't drink the wine...you can always bring some home to celebrate with later! I brought 3 bottles back. Don't turn the trip down until you talk to your doc! Think of it as a "babymoon". Isn't that what people are calling vacations they take while pregnant for some relaxation.

Dear Lindsay, Anjabelle, and Wolfie and Michelle,
How is everyone doing. Well now it is the 14th so were all getting closer to result day. My sideeffects are slight cramping; a little nausea and very tired. My lower back is sore as well. What are all your side effects? Okay I did something stupid. Yesterday before work I bought an ept and used it. It was positive for pregnancy which I know means nothing because my blood work is on the 17th. My Dh was like "why did you do that?" I did have a real good answer. Any way he is not mad but he doesnt want me to get my hopes up for no reason. I highly recomend not getting ept because now I am more confused then ever lol. Work today from 12-4. My boss asked my on thursday if I could work on Sunday; couldn't say no after having a week off for retrieval/transfer.
Hope to hear about everyone's weekend
All my best lisa

The 17th is around the corner! I feel like I am still years away from the 22nd. I have a little cramping and my lower back is sore. But I think the back ache is more from laying on the couch for the last 5 days!
Don't beat yourself up about taking the hpt. I'm sure you've been waiting for years for this moment. I'm sure it's very difficult to hold off the urges.
Are you working in the days eading up to the blood work?

I am in the 2 ww after my first IVF transfer (day 3, 2 embyros on 10/9). I will test this coming Friday, 10/19.
My breasts are very sore, and I will start my Vivelle patches tomorrow. Any symptoms I should expect adding this to the "mix"?
For the past two nights I have awakend with a cramp in my lower abdomen (uterus, I assume?) - not like a menstrual cramp, but like nothing I've felt before, so it's hard ro describe. Not so painful that I am doubled over or anything, and it goes away by the time I am fully awake and doesn't come back (until the next night). All I can picture is my little embryos trying to implant and my fussy uterus saying hell, no! You are not welcome in here!

Hi girls Lisa, sounds like a positive! How exciting!!! Are you going to recheck it? On the other hand, my situation is not unfolding as I had hoped. I did take three days off work, but on the day after transfer(Tuesday) I got some bad news about my mother's health status and became very upset which I think resulted in the terrible cold I have had since. It is awful-I am sneezing nonstop, coughing. Of course you cannot control it so I cringe each time since I know there is no way those poor embryos could implant. Then I also had to go back to work sick. So basically, I feel like crap and do not feel hopeful about a positive outcome. I am trying not to let it get me down, especially bc there are more serious things going on right now. I am grateful we were able to freeze 6 embryos (and that it was a free in vitro study!)
As for signs, I do not have much to report. I did get a backache from the bed rest! I do not have sore boobs at all (I am on Crinone vaginal gel one time daily). I had a tiny bit of cramping today, but that is fairly typical PMS signs for me. Is anyone else gassy? I noticed I was a bit today, but again I get that before my period.
Keep in touch-it is nice to know how everyone is doing. Lindsay

When I took a hpt with my first pregnancy the line was VERY faint. I called my doc that afternoon and she said any line in the "positive area" is a positive test. Hang in there!
I feel fine. I feel like I should be feeling something but I really don't. Some very light cramping, breast tenderness, tired, and lower back ache. I attribute the tiredness and back ache to doing nothing but laying/sitting on the couch. Breast tenderness to meds. I am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow to have some distraction. Beta test is one week from tomorrow.

I am on the Vivelle patches also. However, I started mine the day after transfer. My transfer was on the 10th. I have not noticed anything different from the patches. I do have breast tenderness...probably from progesterone and some light cramping.

Thanks girls for your kind words.
Lisa, I still think you are prego...is ept the most sensitive test to use? I never know which one to buy.
My beta is on Friday. I don't think I will bother with a hpt. I think the last week of waiting is the worst bc you start to get your normal PMS signs-a pretty sure sign that your period is coming. What a fun process...
Talk to you all later-Lindsay
