Ok ladies, I have great news. Yesterday we went for the second ultrasound and everything looks good. Baby is about 1” in size and heartbeat is at 153 beats/min. On June 30th, like some of you, we will be graduating also. Just in case I didn’t mention it, wife is 8 weeks today. Wife’s been feeling queasy almost every day on and off, any tips on how to alleviate that? In case you're wondering why my wife is not the one asking the questions, well our home computer crashed about a month ago. The only computer we have access to is at my job. By the way, congratulation to those that have graduated and to those that soon will.
Lorenzo, good news, indeed. Graduating day was bittersweet for me. You get use to the RE and his staff and than your cut off, sort of speak. I love my OB and was glad to get back to his office. I didn't or have much nausea, so can't help you with that. Keep us posted.

Congratulations Lorenzo on the fantastic U/S. I miss the IVF staff myself. I also realized my OB doesn't give U/S that often. I haven't had one yet and won't until 20 weeks. Some women here are lucky and have one every visit. Good luck to you and your dw. cassandra

YEA! This is great news!! Happy Father's Day to you!!
I suffered from TERRIBLE morning sickness...from week 8 until about week 14...and if it weren't for the medication Zoforan, I would have been sunk! Have your wife ask her doctor about it as soon as possible, or if she's uncomfortable doing that, have her ask about it at the OB appointment. Until then, I would suggest sour lemon candies for her to suck on. While it won't help as much as the Zoforan, they seemed to do the trick for me. FYI, the Zoforan works within fifteen minutes...it's an orally dissolving tablet so it works quite quickly...it's a total lifesaver.
Again, congratulations to you both and keep us posted!!!
