GOT THE GO AHEAD TO START MY MEDS TODAY EVEN WITH A CYST

GOT THE GO AHEAD TODAY TO START INJECTIONS EVEN WITH A NEW OVARIAN CYST NOTED ON US. THIS IS MY FIRST IVF CYCLE AFTER 3 FAILED IUI ATTEMPTS. RE SAYS SHE DOESN'T SEE MUCH FOLLICLE ACTIVITY. WILL THIS INCREASE WITH THE MEDS AND HOW MANY EGGS CAN I HOPE FOR WITH DECREASED FOLLICLES?? ANY ADVICE --WILL BE TAKING FOLLISTIM/MENOPUR/ AND LUPRON DAILY AND EXPECTED RETRIEVAL AROUND 4/22 OR 23.

Christine,
I wish you the best of luck, I too had 3 failed IUI's and 3 failed IVF's. (well my first IVF worked but then ended up as a chemical pregnancy within a week). This was my last IVF and I got a BFP on3/10! This Sunday I will be 9 weeks. The shots will absolutely help with folicle numbers and growth. My first IVF, I had 17 eggs retreived. My other cycles were less but the meds def. help. How old are you if you don't mind me asking?
