Follistim....side effects???

Good Morning Everyone,

Well last night I gave myself my first injection of Follistim to stimulate egg production. I was wondering if anyone had been on this drug and how you reacted to it.

ABout one hour after the injection I started feeling very gasy. I went to sleep and woke up this morning (3:30am) very sick to my stomach, constipation followed by diarrhea, and felt some what short of breath.

After an hour or so of being up and sipping on some ginger ale I felt a bit better.  Just praying I am not having a bad reaction to this med as I do not want to have to stop it.

It was only one dose of 150ui I can't imagine you can come down with Ovarian Overstimulation Syndrome that quickly???
I am also on Lovenox due to Lupus and clotting issues and I am already dealing with some pluerisy and pericarditis and I fear this will worsen when I read the leaflet.  AM I over thinking?

Feeling kind of anxious.

Thanks
Pam

I made a mistake... I am taking 300 twice daily. Is this an unusually high amount? I will doing this until Saturday.  THis would mean that I felt that ill during the night only at 150 because I gave myself the wrong dose.

Thanks
Pam
