Estrogen level after transfer

I had an IVF procedure last Saturday. They did a blood test in the a.m.  The nurse called and said my estrogen had dropped more than 50% so I should start using two vivelle patches every other day.  I asked for the numbers.  She said my estrogen was 3900 on the day of retrieval and had dropped to 877.  She said anything over 300 was fine but they didn't want it to drop more so start the patches.

I requested an estrogen/progesterone test Thurs (5dp3dt).  They said both were fine.  She said progesterone was 59 and estrogen was 417 (again stating over 300 is fine).  My question, since I'm on patches, is this a bad sign that it has continued to drop?  Will this effect my chances of implantation/pregancy?

Also, when does implantation generally occur after a day 3 transfer?

Thank you so much, I'm concerned about the estrogen drop and don't know if I should be.  The nurse seemed focused on over 300 and not that it dropped.

Thanks!

Aslong as your estrogen and progesterone levels are in the normal range, it does not matter if they fluctuate.
Good luck.
