I have heard that ALOT of gals take some form of estrogen along with the progesterone after transfer. My RE prescribed only progesterone. Do I need the estrogen also? Is it abnormal not the take that as well?

I do prescribe estrogen for my patients after egg retrieval.  The data are unclear as to benefit.  Since there is no demonstrated risk, and it is cheap insurance, I do it.
