Endometrial Lining

I had a cycle cancelled last month and my RE said my lining didn't look good and that it looked "clunky". On day eight of stims it was 9.97mm. I had an endometrial biopsy  yesterday...he said that has been shown to help implantation. What should my lining have been and what can be found by doing an endometrial biopsy? Help! This is all so foreign to me!

The endometrium should be greater than 7 mm thick - preferably at least 8mm  - at the time of ovulation.
Good luck.

Your RE may be doing an endometrial biopsy to determine if your endometrium is responding at the appropriate rate to progesterone - endometrial dating.  I do endometrial biopsy to test for an adhesion molecule which seems to be important for embryo implantation.
Good luck.
