I am in my second 2ww (last month our first IVF failed) and will know the outcome next Friday (4/15). Of course my mind is starting to play its' tricks. So I have a question for you all. Is an 8 cell grade A embryo the best size/quality it can be for a 3 day transfer? I had 2 @ 8 cells gr. A , 1 @ 7 gr. B & 1 @ 6 gr.A transfered on 4/3/05. We have an unexplained infertilty problem and if this round does not work I want to pursue a 5 day transfer but my RE has reservations. The embryoligist told me that the jury is out on 3 vs. 5 day transfers and their statistics showed no improvement when they had tried 5 day transfers. I am interested in your thoughts on this topic. Thanks Colleen

From what I know the Grade A 8 cell is a great egg. I had three with my first transfer that ended in pg but then a m/c. Good luck with this cycle.
