Dr. Jacobs, I am 10 days post a 3 day transfer. i am 14.5 days post HCG trigger and 13 days post egg retrieval. I had 2 8 cell compounded embies tranfered. I did a naughty thing and did a home preg test (First Response) and got a faint second, positive line today. Is it likely I am pregnant? Can a blood test be the only thing to differentiate a chemical pregnancy? If the line is darker tomorrow could I be more certain? My beta is scheduled for Friday. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
I am 32 yrs old, DH is 40, married almost two years, DH had a vasectomy reversal (has 2 kids ages 10 & 17 from previous marriage, not living with us). TTC 1 year. 2 failed IUI's, DH sperm issues....IVF w/ICSI -May in Seattle (not avail in my state - Alaska) - BFP due 2/16/06!!!
