Controlling insulin levels helped me

As a woman, I can tell you that I did not expect to start losing my hair. However, when my OBG/YN diagnosed me with PCOS, all my preconceived notions about hair growth and loss went out the window. Apparently many women with PCOS experience male pattern baldness. Who knew??? Because insulin resistance has been identified as one culprit for all of this,  people are starting to develop ways to control insulin levels in people with PCOS and other diseases. For example, Insulite Laboratories in Bolder, CO has developed a system incorporating nutrition, exercise, nutritional supplements and support networks to help women control their symptoms. Today, I do not suffer with symptoms of PCOS because I consistently monitor my food intake and follow a daily exercise program. And I have two beautiful boys to show for all my hard work!
