Consultation appointment coming up...

Hey all, I am new to this and my husband and I have our consultation with the RE on the 6th of June. If anyone has any tips like what questions I need to be asking the RE or what I should be looking for please feel free to respond so I can make this journey as successful as possible for us.

Sylvia,

I have my consult w/ RE on 6/10. I know that they prefer both partners be at the consult, and if you can bring a copy of your records from ob/gyn that's appreciated. Good luck with your visit. Let me know how you make out, since I'm 4 days after you. ;)

;D That is great.....I am so excited. What treatment options are you looking at? We have to do IVF w/ ICSI b/c my husband has blocked vas defrens....they could attempt surgery and see how things go but he is in the military and doing SF training. So he really cannot afford that much down time. How about you?

I am ttc for #1. No pregnancies in the past. I have infertility caused by PCOS. Both tubes are open. No male factor involved. I've just completed my 2nd cycle Clomid & timed intercourse. I'm guessing the RE will also put me on Metformin for PCOS. Someone on this site with PCOS said as soon as they took Metformin they got pregnant. So, hopefully that happens in my case. But, my next step will be IUI (I think). But, we will see what RE says.
