Dear Doctor,
When starting a IVF cycle, dose it matter what cycle day you start FSH stimms if you started Lupron on day 21 of the previouse cycle? For example, starting FSH on day 3 v.s. day 5.

I'm 44, DH 50. Married 2000. DD born 2002. TTC # 2 for 5 years with clomid, ovarian stimulation x3 (3 chemical P), 4 failed IVF. 1 failed DE cycle, failled DE FET, transfered 2nd fresh DE cycle on 11/23/07

I have my IVF patients take a packet of birth control pills before IVF, and start Lupron on pill day 21. On pill day 28, I do baseline blood work, and an ultrasound, before starting FSH that day.
