Blocked Tubes

I had a hsg done last week, and the md told me my left tube was fully blocked and my right was partially blocked. Is there any hope that it can be fixed through surgery and we will be able to conceive naturally? I honestly don't know if IVF is the right path for us to take at this point in time....it's all so overwhelming!!!

I have a blocked right tube. Not to discourage but my RE is reluctant to do surgery for fear of causing further damage as tubes are quite delicate.

I just did my 3rd IUI and my RE suggested we discuss alternatives if this does not work. I like you find IVF overwhelming; however, we must remember that IVF was developed for women like us with blocked tubes.

As overwhelming as it sounds, give it's worth giving some consideration. I'm thinking that if my RE suggests IVF, I may wait before jumping right in.

Please let me know what you decide/ Talk to your RE about it.
