Hi I have a specific question, we are moving from our old clinic to put our embryos in temporary storage at another ivf clinic, until the appropriate clinic can be found. the receiving clinic what are their roles and duties as far as coordinating the move. I know we need freezing protocols, and also hiv std, hepatitis testing, but should the receiving clinic tell the shipping clinic how to package the embryos and sperm on a straw, so all the receiving clinic has to do is take the embryos out and put in their storage tanks, bc each lab handles how they store embryos and sperm differently?
also on the blastocysts do you move the embryos into a different culture medium and incubator to make the embryos. is there a special incubator for 3 day embryos and a different incubator for a 5 day embryo? and also do the culture mediums change on day 3 to try to take them to 5 day?
thanks for your input.
