Dr. Smith,
I have recently read a topic of discussion re: transfer of 3day vs blast embies. I found it very informative and lead me to question my RE/lab further. They also prefer to transfer at the blast stage with ICSI and AH. It has made me very much relieved to learn this, based on your earlier discussion. However, my major stressor at this point is how many blasts to transfer? I am 39.9 and have no known IF issues - I am a Single Mother by Choice using a donor. My RE wants to transfer 2, but I am not wanting to have twins! Can you speak to the issues of transferring 1 blast vs. 2 or more?
Thank you for such wonderful discussions! Knowledge is power and relief - sometimes.
