Hi faith4,
I'm so sorry for your loss. As I too have been in your shoes. I have had over 20+ miscarriages, I am pregnant now about 5 weeks and I am waiting to m/c anyday now. My levels on Wednesday were 57 and by Friday they were 5. I have'nt started bleeding but I have the cramping. It is such a blessing that I am able to conceive no problem, but every pregnancy ends between 5&6 weeks! I have had every test you can imagine, I have used progesterone,81mg of aspirin, folic acid, lovenox, hepirin you name it I've tryed it!
Have you been seen by an R.E? This is the second one that I've been seen by. She is HEAVEN SENT, the first one was only for the money, all he wanted to talk about was IVF and a surrogate, but I have excellent eggs and ovaries. And I have no problem getting pregnant.
My new R.E had me go today to have blood work done to determine my blood type and to see if it's negative or positive. I have been doing research all day, I think she wants to see if I'm RH negative. Would you happen to no if your negative or positive? I have a cousin and she is RH negative, she has had 2 miscarriages and was given some shot after the last one she did'nt no she was negative with the first pregnancy.
I no it will happen for us all when it's the right time. But sometimes I wonder when is the right time. You have come to the right place for support, we are always here for each other. Take care....Tiffany

faith i have to be on the progestrone at the time of conception or i will miscarry.
Tiffany how old are you? You also said 20+ miscarriages that srazy. My last pregnancy was a success however we had decided at that time if we lost that one we were done and i would get my tubes tied. Luckily i carried to term but i still had my tubes ties. I have had 5 m/c's and that is more then enough. MMine was all between 6-15 weeks. When we were on number 3 of m/c's we looked into serogency and were going to give fertility one last try or do the serogency. We had our first daugter on pregnancy 4 the lost pregnancy 5 and 6 then had number 7. i dont know how you cna keep going through it.

bdantonio,
I also have 2 daughters ages 18&11, I have been dealing with m/cs for over 17 years. I have gone over 3years with out getting p/g because I had just given up and I was tried! My DH and I have been together for 10 years, he has no children, well he treats my daughters as if they are his own you would never no he was'nt their dad. But he has no biological children. He is very supportive through it all, I think if we are unable to get any answers this year, I will just be done. My husband, myself and our daughters took my mom out to dinner this evening for mothers day, and I started having a m/c, I was prepared because I started the cramping yesterday. But it is just a situation that when you feel you've had enough or that your just tried, you'll give up! If I don't have a successful pregnancy by the end of this year, I will just give up. My new RE has several test she wants me to have done. I just started seeing her on April 21, I was all prepared to start birth control pills and get the show on the road, but as I was waiting for my period I found out I was p/g last Monday! I totally believe in God and I no he knows what he has in store for us all, and I pray and believe all the time, I never question God as to why I have been through ALL that I have been through. I thank God for my 2 daughters everyday! Happy Mothers Day to u and all the other moms and mommies to be! God Bless.....Tiffany

is serogency out of the question for you? That way you can use your eggs and his sperm you just wont carry it.

Surrogacy is not out of the question for us, but we are defifinatly not ready to give up on our own either. My sister would be our first choice and then we are going to talk to the doctor about sugguested agencies to keep in mind also.

I never really thought about surrogacy, it does'nt sound like a bad idea. But is'nt it very costly? Would I need to find the surrogate? As you can see I don't no anything about, I just remember someone saying that paid for the procedure which was very exspensive and also had to pay like $10,000 for the surrogate! Does that sound about right? I'm in California...any info would be graetly appreciated! Thanks

I was on lovenox, baby asprin, progestrone, folic acid, and steroids through my first trimester. I also had exploratory lap a month prior and they found some fibroids and i had a heart shaped uterus that was making implantation difficult, which no test would show except a lap.
1st step with serogency is find a person my sister in law was going to do it for us. Your re will then want to run tests on her. You bot have to take fertility drugs so that they can retrieve your eggs and that she can have them implanted. Also find out what her and your nsurance will cover and what you will have to pay out of pocket.

I have tryed everything you were on except the steriods! What steriods were you on? I have had a HSG but I never had a lap done. My new RE had just prescribed for 8 antibiotics, 2 valiums and birth control pills but I found out I was p/g. I was to take 4 antibiotics and 1 valium before having the HSG and the same thing before having the LAP done. So I guess as soon as I'm done bleeding and get a regular period I can get back on track and have these test done. Is the Lap painful? When I had the HSG it was uncomfortable and I had cramping and spotting.

I was on bed rest for four days after the lap. It was pretty uncomfortable. I wouldnt say painfull however i have a very high tolerance for pain. For example i had 2 c-sections and never too pain meds after the first 48 hrs. I dont know what steroids it was. They just called it a cocktail. I was on the injections for progestrone. From the day of ovulation though. Alot of people say they didnt start until they found out they were pg i took it from the date of ovulation

I say what you wrote to dr jacobs about the lab. What thy looked for with me was a few things. One with me i had a c-section prior. 1.They checked for scar tissue from that. 2. Looked at my tubes. 3. Looked at my ovaries. 4.Made sure nothing was moved around afte they cleaned up from my c-section.
With my hyeteroscopy 1.they found a heart shaped uterus 2.Fibroids. 3. scar tissue from previous m/c's
