Any Hope?

hi all...I am new here.  I am 6.5 weeks pregnant and I saw the heartbeat yesterday and the embryo measured exactly where it should.  My hcg however only went up 10% in 5 days (4500 -->4950).  Does anyone have a success story where the hcg 'turned around' and the baby continued to grow normally.  I am looking for any glimmer of hope and praying real hard.  I am 42 years old and I have a 2.5 year old.  Thanks.  Maureen
