Hi!
I am not in the San Diego area I am in Atlanta, GA.  I started accupuncture 3 weeks ago and I really like it.  I found my place through my fertility clinic.  Have you asked  your clinic or nurse if they can either recommend a place or If they know where some of their patients have gone.  My clinic gave me a sheet of paper with 6 different accup places I just went to all of their websites to see which one I thought looked best.  Its interesting when I went for my first appointment they have 2 huge bulletin boards with baby pictures!
Good Luck!

Hi Gina,

Thanks so much for your email. Will ask the clinic. I havent really spoken to my RE after my failed IVF last week. And the other weird thing is they (clinic) told me that they are shutting down their fertility center this week (its a OB/GYN clinic). I thought that was so weird and makes me want to doubt all their procedure... anyway, sorry just wanted to vent. thanks for your email.

Hey pady,

Are they shutting down for Spring break or for good? I don't blame you that sounds realy weird.  May have gotten a couple of bad lawsuits that forced them to close you should look into that. Sorry to hear about your failed IVF, I just started my period today and I am about to begin my first IVF cycle.  I have been putting it off for a while, but after 2 failed IUI and 3 rounds of clomid, its the next step.
Have a good Week!

The clinic is not shutting down but the fertility center part of the clinic is and for good! They told me becos they were not gettng enough business, its hard for me to believe beco every other person seems to be having a IVF done..

Are you going on OCP/BCP or are you starting your triggers? Mine started with birth control pills. THat month when I was on OCP, was really really very relaxed and happy... Didn't have to 'try' and 'wait' anyway, good luck with your IVF. have a nice week too...

Hi All,
My Acupuncturist in Huntington, NY was fantastic!  It was his treatments that made all the difference in the world after my first failed IVF.  I now have twin boys because of chinese medicine.
His name is James Vitale L.Ac and he is at www.MyFertileHealth.com

Good luck!

Dr. Randine Lewis, author of the Infertility Cure, specializes in fertility and holds retreats in Asheville, NC.  She has a list of practitioners who have trained with her on retreat and I am sure there is one from San Diego.  I would highly recommend the retreat experience, which provides you with specifics on acupuncture, herbal protocols, diet and lifestyle.  The Fertile Soul also has a phone advisory program for those who cannot travel.  Contact the Fertile Soul 1-866-469-3378 or email: coordinator@thefertilesoul.com and for more information.
