Hi, everyone...I've been browsing throught this forum for the past few days and this is my first time posting. I just wanted to see if I have any 2ww buddies out there. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and DH:
I am 29
DH is 30
Turns out, I have PCOS. Hubby had 2 SA's which showed borderline morphology, but count was great so RE says he's not too worried about it.
Anyway, I did 3 months of clomid 50mg, 100, 150) with my regular Ob Gyn and it didn't work so she sent me to the RE. My first visit with the RE was just a few days prior to ovulation and I had done the 4th cycle of clomid, so we proceeded with the IUI (without hcg trigger).....
well, that didn't work, so he said let's do an HSG on the next cycle. So, on CD 13 I had the HSG which came back just fine. Then, on CD14, I had blood work and ultrasound and later got a call that I was almost ready. On CD 15, at night, I gave myself the hcg shot and then had my second IUI on CD 17 (4/17/07) and I am now officially in the 2ww at DPO #3. It's only been 3 days since IUI and already, I am going wacky. I want so badly for this to work. I have a question, if anyo0ne out there is reading this......I gave myself hcg and had the IUI 36 hrs later...but I ovulated somewhere in between, which means I probably ovulated a day before IUI. Is that normal?
Seems like everyone around me is pregnant by accident....my sis in law is pregnant with her 2nd and w/ both babies she whined for all 9 months about how she didn't want it to happen adn what an accident it was.....makes me so angry cause in the meantime there are some of us who are dying to have a baby and have not been able to do so.
I know I am new to TTC (TTC 1 yr., 5th clomid cycle, 2nd IUI), but this past year seems like forever to me.
Anyone out there on the same cycle as me? I would love some support. I go through this site and fertilityfriend and tryingtoconceive.com about 100 times a day.....makes me wacky..hehe!!
