Pregnant after first IUI
Hello all! I wish for you to discover greater hope as you read my story. I am now 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby, Benjamin. I am 25 years old and my husband (of 4 years) and I actively tried to get pregnant for 18 months on our own. However, due to PCOS I never even experienced a regular period, much less an ovulation. We decided after 3 years and no oops or finally it was time to seek help. We went to a fertility clinic very excited only to do discover we would have to wait another 4 months before we could even try to get pregnant. They found a 12cm cyst on my right ovary that had to be removed. It was Septemeber when this cyst was discovered. They could not schedule the laparascopy until Decemeber! We were devastated but still hopeful. When January arrived we could finally start the process. Unfortunately the first round of Clomid did not help at all. But, I was switched to bravelle the next month and had my first IUI, this was now March. Two weeks later we found out we had one baby on the way!!! I couldn't feel more blessed...and I wish you much luck. I remember reading these stories and crying thinking it would never happen for us. Now, I can't help but be astonished by our "luck!"
