PCOS/First IUI
I was diagnosed with PCOS over a year ago after trying for almost 2 years to get pregnant. Suddenly the weight gain and other things made sense but I was so sad to learn that I would have to continue to struggle trying to get pregnant. After months of tests, my fertility specialist found 2 fibroid tumors in my uterus, which I had surgery in August 2007 to remove, and we had to wait for 2 months before trying anything. They decided to try Clomid (which I tried 3 times before with my OB/GYN) with monitoring and Ovidrel injection. I was so excited to learn that I had 1 follicle and did ovulate this month. I just finished my second day of IUI and I have to anxiously wait for 2 weeks before taking a pregnancy test. With a 15% chance of getting pregnant its hard to not be discouraged but I have my fingers crossed and am praying every day! I wish you all the best!
