6 miscarriages, next step IUI
I am in my 20's and I have had 6 miscarriages. Finally, after the 3rd miscarriage my husband and I went to a endocrinologist. He did every test known to humans on both my husband and I.
We found out that my husband has a balanced translocation. The doctors say that this causes him to produce more abonormal sperm that usual and if an abnormal sperm fertilizes my egg, then it will result in a miscarriage.
However, if a normal egg fertilizes my egg than it will result in a normal baby. The next step for us might be IUI with my husbands sperm. I am a little nervous about the possible side effects of the drugs that I will be placed on (follistim, ovidrel, and clomid).
Still not sure what we are going to do yet.
