Ok ladies...here is a great example of insensitivity....
I work with this young 24 yr. old B*#%! I don't like her very much...she is all about herself ALL of the time. She has a new boyfriend every 5 minutes and talks nonstop about how ALL guys are ALWAYS hitting on her...I think you get the annoying drift.... ::)
Well, she was telling me last night on our dinner break that she had a huge scare and thought she was pregnant. Now....unfortunately she knows what my DH and I have been going through. She has taken the unfortunate brunt of a couple of my hormonal mood swings in the past couple of months... :o
She went on to say how she would have an abortion because she is still living at home with her parents and they would kick her out....blah blah blah. I just sat there and stared at her with a blank look on my face. I said, "You would just kill your baby?" and she claimed she would have no choice. I said, "Don't you know that there are thousands of couples who would absolutely love to adopt a little baby?" She just shrugged her shoulders. >:(
Why are women so cruel? Why would she tell me that knowing what I am going through? I didn't talk to her the rest of the night and then slipped out the back door when it was time to go home. People are just mean.
