This is my first time posting here although I've been lurking for awhile, and you ladies all seem so supportive of one another. I want to know if this is the right place for me to be. We are dealing with secondary IF and I don't want to be insensitive to those who are trying for #1. Please let me know if this is an okay place for me to vent! Here is my story. Dh and I were blessed with a beautiful little girl who just turned 3 last week (conceived on our own). We have been ttc for 2 years now. I had lap/hysteroscopy last summer, we've done 2 rounds of IUI with clomid and now have had 2 cancelled cycles (cysts, low response to meds). I'm 31, dh is 33. We're going back to RE next week to talk about what's next. I'm just feeling frustrated and tired of this whole thing. But please don't get me wrong...the longer this goes on, the more I feel blessed to have my little girl. I just hope she will have a sibling one day. Thanks for listening.

Kaz, you are welcome here whether its your first or second or fifth child for that matter. If you have to desire to try for #2 and you are now in this infertile hell hole, than this is the right place for you. One child does not replace the desire to have more. I wish you all the luck on your journey. Please come here and vent, celebrate or cry....we'll be here.

Kaz - You are soooo welcome here. You are struggling with infertility, and this is a great place to come for answers and support.

This group of ladies truly understand all the emotions that come with ttc for a long time.

Welcome and come chat anytime.

Baby dust to you!

Thanks for the warm welcome. It's so helpful to hear other people going through this IF stuff at the same time. I have some great friends, but only one has been through IF and really "gets it." And of course, there's all the perfect strangers who feel the need to tell me that my daughter needs a sibling or that we'd better not wait too long to have the next one. Like we planned it this way. This is certainly the most frustrating thing I've ever dealt with, but I'm hopeful that it will all be a distant memory one day. I wish all of you the best of luck with your own family-building dreams!

Trying in NH - May 7

Kaz,

I am also ttc #2. We had a 2 year battle trying to get our son now almost 14 months old, we conceived on our first month of clomid. Now it has been 11 months and still nothing! We have already done 3 rounds of clomid and now 2 IUI's with clomid and I am in the middle of my 2ww. I too feel very blessed to have our son but I feel like I am letting him down because I can't give him a brother or sister.

Everybody here is an inspiration to me and they are all strong, and supportive women

Good luck with your journey.

Kaz I just want to assure you that this is a great place to be during this trying time of ttc. I joined two months ago but I have learnt so much, I can even write a thesis. The ladies on this board are the best and I know I have not broken down becoz they are always here for you.

Good Luck.

Shaz.
I just noticed you live in Melbourne. My husband grew up in Melbourne and his parents live there now, but we are in Boston area. Thanks for the welcome, and good luck to you!

Kaz - You are paying your infertility dues for sure. 2 years is a long time to try and concieve at your age. My adopted daughter will be 17 this year and people always say to me if I mention that we want another. "you want to start over after one is almost gone? You must be a brave women to start all over again.) I wonder if the mean crazy or really brave. Take care and ignore the ignorant. They are everywhere. Good luck with this journey. Keep in touch with us whenever you need us.
