I don't know what to do. I've just been keeping busy. Usually I have no problems sleeping, I love my sleep. Dh thinks it is pretty funny. He is the one who usually can't sleep and I am usually alseep as soon as my head hits the pillow! |

Well girls I really don't know what to think. DH and I had 3 pgs together in a year and a half then nothing for almost 2 years, so I know his boys were good at some point. Also when we were doing the clomid we had 2 post coital tests that showed active viable sperm. His one sperm analysis that was terrible was over the summer when we tried the gonal -f. I did hear that a sleeping pill he was using can cause fertility problems. Anyway we decided to go with IVF because it had been so long since our last pg and we tried many months of clomid and gonal and with that sperm analysis I didn't want to waste time. In the mean time no more pills, so although I think getting pg on our own is unlikely, I don't think it is impossible. I guess I will see what happens when I go to the RE tomorrow for my u/s and E2 level. |

Lyly - good luck with your E2 and u/s. You will do fine. I knew I could ever get pregant on my own unless I lost 60 pounds. Who knows though....IVF has a great success rate. You already have one child, correct? |

Thanks julie- I am praying I don't have any cysts tomorrow and the IVF goes as planned. I ended up POAS and it was negative, so it must be the lupron. I hope that this delay in af doesn't delay the IVF process. I do have one dd who is 9. She was conceived naturally without even trying, but she is from a previous relationship. Dh has no children of his own only the pics of our sonos that never made it. It is funny how the 3 pgs we had in the past happened so quickly and now it turns out he has a problem with his sperm. We both thought I was the problem because of my high risk for miscarriage, but I guess that is not the case. I am hopeful that this works, especially with the ICSI. What were you fertility issues again? |

Lyly - I had unexplained infertility! I will tell you this - of everyone I know who did IVF who gave birth previously became pregnant on their first try! I swear the body recognizes what it did in the past! You waited long enough - i feel it will be your turn! |

Thanks Julie I hope you are right! I went for my u/s and E2 level today. NO CYSTS!!!!! My lining was 12, right ovary quiet (whatever that means) and left some small follicles. Anyway now I have to wait for my E2 results to see if the lupron dose is good or needs to be changed and wait for my period to arrive. Last time I didn't have this problem because I was on the pill and going off induced a bleed. Did you period being late delay you starting stims by a few days ? |
