I don't know what to do. I've just been keeping busy. Usually I have no problems sleeping, I love my sleep. Dh thinks it is pretty funny. He is the one who usually can't sleep and I am usually alseep as soon as my head hits the pillow!

Lyly - good luck...hopefully, you will be able to sleep soon.

hi girls,
just an update-went for our first u/s with regular ob.It was wonderful to see our little baby moving it's tiny legs and hands, and heartbeat was 152.It's just amazing to see something that small (2in in size) looks like a human.
I was kinda worry before, because this PG is realy very different from my others-I don't realy have PG symptoms( like m/s )to remind me that I'm PG.O well ,I got my proof today. After some posts here I start doubt a little if everything ok there, you know, everybody shearing their stories, like baby stop growing and the symptoms went away... I guess,God decided this time to go easy on me with my late PG(I'm 37 now).
how is everybody?

Marina! A BOG CONGRATS! I am so happy for you! How far along are you? You must be so relieved to hear that heartbeat! GOOD FOR YOU!

Marina - I am so happy to hear things are turning out well. It is so reassuring to see the u/s isn't it?

Julies- How are you doing? I remember you said the lupron made af late when you where on it. Did you have any of your usual signs of af before it came? I was due for mine today and no sign of it. I usually spot for 3-4 days before af and still no spotting. Dh and I had sex the night before I caught the positive on the opk with no protection. So I am slightly concerned, even though it has been 2 yrs since our last pg. Anyway it is probably just the lupron but I would think I would be at least spotting by now.

Marina -

yes, I was about 5 days late on the Lupron. They say that is very normal. I was hoping I was pregnant but heard getting pregnant on the Lupron can be bad - i never had intercourse after i started the Lupron. My place told me not to. I have the same periods you do - I spot a couple days before.

AS for me - lots of morning sickness all day long. I am on the Zofran which is helping a little.

Julie- I am glad to hear the Zofran is helping you a bit with the m/s.

When dh and I had sex it happened to be right at the time I was ovulating, it was just sheer luck. I wasn't planning on anything because I had that cyst. I didn't keep track and I was on hold so we weren't cautious. I didn't even know that we were going to be able to start the IVF until after we already had sex. The day after I went to the RE and he said I was ready to start, suprise to me I wasn't too optimistic. So he had me check for ovulation and it was positive. By that time what was done was done. If I did get pg it was the week before the lupron, not after the start of it. It has been 2 weeks since I ovulated and I have been on the lupron for a week now and no sign of af. No spotting no nothing. Did you still have the spotting before af when you were on the lupron?

Jules614 - January 9

Lyly - yes I had spotting with the Lurpon - Are you tempted to take a home pregnancy test?

Julie

Marina - January 9

Lyly.
from what I remember, all I had was spotting for about 5-7 days(normaly I go 3),not your usual period and I didn't know then ,if it was a period, because they told me just it's ok to have spotting or bleeding when you are on lupron,so I didn't know if I'm suppose to have AF and didn't time it.
About sex-o well, good for you! I wouldn't worry about this.If you are going to do ICSI,that's probably because your husband's sperm not superior quality(don't get me wrong,I'm not trying to laugh,we are in the same team with you and we had sex too,but I was not worry at all, because my RE told us that It's 99% imposible to get PG on our own with this kind of sperm(o,poor guys!).
And if you did get PG-how nice, you'll save money!

Marina - January 9

Julie,I feel sorry for you,but at least you definately feel PG!(ha-ha).That's why it's so wierd NOT to have it,that I can't help myself and wonder at least once aday,if everything ok there.I'm 10 weeks today, what about you?

Jules614 - January 10

Marina - I am about 7 and a half weeks - my date keeps changing because the baby is growing slowly. I just hope it catches up and they can push my due date ahead!

Well girls I really don't know what to think. DH and I had 3 pgs together in a year and a half then nothing for almost 2 years, so I know his boys were good at some point. Also when we were doing the clomid we had 2 post coital tests that showed active viable sperm. His one sperm analysis that was terrible was over the summer when we tried the gonal -f. I did hear that a sleeping pill he was using can cause fertility problems. Anyway we decided to go with IVF because it had been so long since our last pg and we tried many months of clomid and gonal and with that sperm analysis I didn't want to waste time. In the mean time no more pills, so although I think getting pg on our own is unlikely, I don't think it is impossible. I guess I will see what happens when I go to the RE tomorrow for my u/s and E2 level.

Jules614 - January 10

Lyly - good luck with your E2 and u/s. You will do fine. I knew I could ever get pregant on my own unless I lost 60 pounds. Who knows though....IVF has a great success rate. You already have one child, correct?

Julie

lyly14 - January 10

Thanks julie- I am praying I don't have any cysts tomorrow and the IVF goes as planned. I ended up POAS and it was negative, so it must be the lupron. I hope that this delay in af doesn't delay the IVF process. I do have one dd who is 9. She was conceived naturally without even trying, but she is from a previous relationship. Dh has no children of his own only the pics of our sonos that never made it. It is funny how the 3 pgs we had in the past happened so quickly and now it turns out he has a problem with his sperm. We both thought I was the problem because of my high risk for miscarriage, but I guess that is not the case. I am hopeful that this works, especially with the ICSI. What were you fertility issues again?

Jules614 - January 10

Lyly - I had unexplained infertility! I will tell you this - of everyone I know who did IVF who gave birth previously became pregnant on their first try! I swear the body recognizes what it did in the past! You waited long enough - i feel it will be your turn!

Julie

lyly14 - January 10

Thanks Julie I hope you are right! I went for my u/s and E2 level today. NO CYSTS!!!!! My lining was 12, right ovary quiet (whatever that means) and left some small follicles. Anyway now I have to wait for my E2 results to see if the lupron dose is good or needs to be changed and wait for my period to arrive. Last time I didn't have this problem because I was on the pill and going off induced a bleed. Did you period being late delay you starting stims by a few days ?
