lyly-I think it is a good idea to wait until after the beta to get s/a results. This wait you still can be positive and have lots of hope.

Lyly how are you feeling. Did you ever call for the results of the s/a or did you decide to wait until Monday after your results.

Well, IT WAS A BFP!!! Beta was 226! I'm in shock!!!!!

Amyjoy- Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you. Guess those really were super sperm! Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Congratulations Amyjoy soooooooooo happy for you. How do you feel, when do you go back to RE???

As for me AF came today so my BFN was correct. Feel kind of crappy but I guess anything you want bad enough does not always come easy. Going to do IUI this time, Do not want the stress of bd under stress. Also hopefully it will give us a better chance.

Lyly-Lots of baby dust to you and hopefully it will be 2 out of 3.

I think IUI is the way to go because it puts the boys closer to their target and it by-passes the cervical mucus. Are you going to do Gonal-F again? I go back Monday for a 2nd beta and then a week from then for an ultrasound.

Thanks for all the baby dust. I am dying to poas, but I still think it is too early. It's only 11 dpo. Plus I don't want to disappoint my self.

JasJules-Sorry to hear about your AF. Do you still have to go for the beta on Monday? I hate when I am spotting and know its a bfn and still have to go for the blood test. I still haven't called for the results of the s/a. I am going to wait till monday when I get the results of the beta. Some how I keep thinking they are both bad news. I rather hear it at the same time! I think it is great that you are going to do IUI. I still have hope for you. It will work for you. Are you going to go for it for this new cycle or are you going to wait?

Amyjoy-We will both be going for beta's on Monday. How did you hold out this time and not POAS? I need some will power. Let me know how the numbers go on monday. Hope to see a nice increase in your numbers. I am praying mine is a bfp, but I am not thinking it is. That is a pretty quick u/s. Do you think they will be able to see if you are having multiples by then? Are you worried about that? Your beta was pretty high, maybe you have twins!!! ;D

Amyjoy-How would you feel about twins??? I am going for IUI this time around along with the Gonal-F. Hope to start soon.

Lyly-I still have hope for you. Any cramping or spotting??? I do not have to go for Beta on Monday but I am going for b/w and u/s to determine if I can start another cycle immediately. Well, financially and the space we have, we really can't have twins. BUT, if it happens, that is okay. Also, there is the increased risk of delivering early and having to be on bed rest. And I need to work until I give birth. Yes, they should be able to tell if there are multiples when I get the U/s done. I asked if it could be twins and she said that it's too early to tell. Hcg levels are different for everyone.

JasJules- No spotting to report yet. Not really sure when i would get AF. I usually have a 31 day cycle but it has been so off with all the meds. I ovulated much earlier than usual on the gonal-f. On my usual cycle I get af after 15 days of LH surge and spotting starts around day 12 or 13. So I have no idea when to expect spotting or af. I had some major cramps after I had an orgasm last night! I know I had that when I was pregnant with my daughter, but that was so long ago. Think I must just be cramping because my uterus is so full with the lining from all that progesterone. Good luck with the b/w and u/s. I hope you can start right away again.

Amyjoy-It is true that hcg levels are different for everyone and even from pregnancy to pregnancy, but you did have quite a few follies and a great sperm count! My RE talked to me about selective reduction when we discussed possibility of multiples, due to the fact that they increase risk for babies and me (since I am already high risk -wouldn't be so good). It is something to consider for health reasons of everyone involved, but it is a tough thing to think about. I mean this is what we have been wanting who wants to consider that option. I wouldn't consider it myself unless I had three or more. Anyway guess you shouldn't even worry about until the u/s. It is soon enough and majority of babies are singletons. How are you feeling?

Well I guess its a bfn- just started spotting! :(

To be honest, I am feeling sick to my stomach most of the day. But, I've been reading up on what to eat and I drink 2 glasses of milk a day and eat a lot of calcium-rich foods because I'm worried about gestational diabetes with being overweight. I am not complaining and I was super worried in the beginning about everything, but I just keep thinking that God knows what He's doing and I need to let me do the work. Everything will fall into place as this preg. did. Don't be discouraged about the spotting. Maybe implantation bleeding?? If not, what are your plans for next cycle? Gonal-F?

JasJUles- Are you starting another cycle right away?
