Hi girls. I knew I was right about having an infection. Finally got the results of my cultures and one came back positive. My RE doesn't want to treat me until we get the results of my beta. He said the antibiotic they usually give is not safe in pregnancy. Not sure what he would give me if I am pg. He checked my progesterone (which was high- so happy since he didn't put me on the suppositories) and he said my lining was at 20 (whoa!) not sure if that is good or bad went from 12 to 20 in one week since I ovulated. I've never had it checked 7dpo so I have no comparison. He also checked my ovaries to make sure I wasn't getting OHSS. They are huge (at least to me -compared to the size they are at baseline u/s). Anyway he said they are ok, so I am gonna go with him.

How are you two holding up?

Amyjoy- when do you plan on POAS? You're gonna test before your beta right? You should be able to do that soon. I hope you get that BFP. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

JasJules- I can't believe your RE is making you wait til monday. My RE gave me a slip to go for my beta on monday and I am a few days after you. He said I can go monday or tuesday. Hah, like I can wait til tuesday when he dated it the 13th. I am sure you will POAS soon too!

Do you think if I POAS today that it will be false + from the trigger??? I took the trigger on July 25th.

I POAS today BFN. Hopefully that will change. Amyjoy I think the hcg shot is definitely out of your system by now. I was really hoping to get BFP today. Although the last two times I was pg it did not come up positive until the day before beta so maybe my hcg level is too low to show up on hpt. At least this is what I am hoping. If I have to start anotther cycle I know I am going to scream. Not even sure if I can do it this month because of out of pocket cost of meds. Gotta get the kids ready for school and that tends to be expensive enough let alot the meds. I am sooooooooo sad at the thought. Hopefully things will change. Probably not I guess BFP will not be happening this month.

Good luck to you guys hopefully one of us at least gets the BFP. Wish it is all three.

Amyjoy- I just read an article that said the ovidrel shot is out of your system in 7 days. Hope you get a BFP!!

I do think the trigger shot should be out of your systems but any bfn's you get today may be inaccurate. It may be early to get enough hcg to show up in your urine for a HPT. If its neg. then wait a few days and recheck. If it's pos. I think it's safe to say it's not false!

I hope you are right about the BFN being inaccurate. I feel pretty crappy right now.

Lyly have you received the results on dh sa. Just thinking about that, I was having a conversation about my dh and since he had 1 a year ago maybe he needs to go for another, eventhough the first result was super sperm, maybe that has changed. Do you think that could have happened??

No results yet on the s/a. They told me that the results can change. That is why they originally didn't send him to get tested. I went for the miscarriages and since I got pg 3 times before with him they assumed he was ok. Since we have been trying for over a yr now and nothing, they said he should get checked because something may have changed with him. I guess it couldn't hurt to check. My dh doesn't have any insurance and it was alot more money than I anticipated ($415). They say if you have a good post coital test then the man's sperm is usually good. We had a good one in May so they were thinking that something may have changed since then! I really think the infection was the problem and I am praying his s/a comes back good. I think he would be devestated if it comes back bad. He even thought I would leave him !!

Hopefully things will come back ok. Men are so sensitive when it is their own infertility that is causing the problem. Something about putting down their manhood. Could imagine what they would do if they had to be poked and prodded like we do. That is why we have the babies and have the pain of childbirth. I love my dh greatly but if he had to have a baby he would never make it. Hahahha

OK so now it is 12:30, cannot take the insomnia!!!!!!!

JasJules- I have been up since 3am! I couldn't sleep last night and boy, am I tired now!

I finally dell asleep last night, or should I sathis morning at 5 am. I played solataire on my phone all night. I am really payong for it today. I am going to take a nice cool shower and hopefully sleep well for the first night in days. Did either of you POAS yet. Let me know how it is going. At least you only have 2 more days amyjoy, lyly and I have to wait till Monday. At least no sign of AF yet, how about you girls.

I do have some cramping. A lot yesterday and some today, but no AF.

I have been having some cramping on and off since yesterday. I usually get cramps like this a few days before my period with very light spotting. Well it is way too early for that and I dont' have any spotting, so who knows what that means. I am only 9 dpo so it is way too early for me to poas. I am going to try to wait for the beta since he is doing it a little early this time.

Thought about calling for the results of s/a today, but was afraid to hear the results. Think if I hear it is bad I will lose all hope! After the bad post coital test, I don't think I could take hearing there was a problem with his sperm.

I think you should wait till beta. I am going crazy since I POAS and got BFN. I seel like I could be pg. My bbs are so sore and have some cramping and nausea but I could be inventing these symptoms in my head. Who knows, I was speaking to my friend who is 14 weeks pg and she tested the day after she missed here period and got a BFN. She waited a week and of course got a bfp.. That is why the beta is the best answer and will not keep you guessing.

I will let you know the results of the beta as soon as I get them!!
