THE 2 WEEK WAIT

It is to early to test. What was the dosage of your HCG trigger shot? It can take 14 days for that to be out of your system. I took one 7 days post ET and it was negative but then I ended up on day 14 with a BFP. I then miscarried and that is another story but for you it is too soon to tell! Keep positive! It will work!

Thanks for your words of encouragement. My HCG shot was 10,000. Hopefully you are right and Thursday when I should go for my blood test it will be another story.

Again thanks and good luck to you.

Hello All:
I'm also in the 2ww. The nurse told me don't even bother taking a HPT it won't give true result at this point between the HCG and the fact that it's too early anyway. So in the mean time I try to keep busy. I have that PMS feeling like almost AF from time to time but no bleeding. I feel more encouraged reading about other women with similar symptoms who went on to BFP! No one else can understand what we're going through even compassionate husbands and friends.

Hang in there! Cramps are a good sign!

sibster - May 14

My test date is also 5/18/06. Trying to be patient but it is very hard. I've had some cramping and brown spotting the last two days that stops quickly. These next 4 days will be tough!

Am glad to hear that everyone struggles with this 2WW and I am not the only one losing my mind! :) I did a relatively low-intervention cycle this month - clomid/injectables with timed intercourse. I've done 3 IUIs (all negative), one IVF (negative) and then got PG naturally the cycle after the IVF but then m/c at 8 weeks.
I am now at 15dpo and no spotting or anything but I am on progesterone suppositories and am scared that that is what is causing the delay. Call me crazy but I am scared to test. I am trying to get my courage up for tomorrow but am just so scared of being disappointed. Have others had a delay in AF b/c of progesterone supplementation?

When I am about to get my period I have sort of a pulsating sensation by my belly button. Do any of your experience this? I am sort of going crazy right now with PMS symptoms and am worried.

At the same time I am feeling a bit of nausea and dizziness. Do any of you relate to this?

I can't wait for Thursday so that I can get my pregnancy test.

Please pray for me and baby dust to all of you.

Thanks.

I can't say I've ever experienced that symptom but my transfer was on 5/4 and since then I've had other PMS symptoms (cramping, bloating, etc.) and brown spotting at 9dpt and 10dpt that stopped quickly. I gave in a took an HPT today and got a faint positive. I'm hopeful but I know to be sure I need the blood test on Thursday because the HCG is probably still in my system. I just told myself I could check as long as I didn't 100% trust the result either way. From what I can tell some women do and some women don't have symptoms and still have BFPs, so try not to drive yourself nuts. I also felt some queasiness but the nurse told me that progesterone could also be the cause.

I have been praying non-stop so I'll add you to my prayer list. I believe we will both have BFPs on Thursday. Hang in there!

Sibster,

Thanks for the words of encouragement and good luck to you on Thursday. I will also keep you in my prayers. I have not had any bleeding or spotting, what I am having is lots of PMS symptoms that are making me a bit nervous. Two more days of waiting to go. Good luck on 5/18/06.

Hello all.

I am new to the 2ww. I have had 3 miscarriages. 2 unexplained and 1 was trisomy 13. After months of testing they determined I have a hormone problem.

Began Clomid this cycle, close monitoring of follicle and hormones. Had to do a hcg injection last Thursday.

I have been feeling very tired, crampy and muscle aches in my legs. (i had the muscle aches with the last pregnancy) I am very scared, as I am sure everyone of you knows well. I get tested 5/26, finding it harder and harder to get though this week.

Has anyone experienced muscle aches in their legs with pregnancy? Sometimes I think I am just imagining it all because I want to be pg so badly.

Sibster,

Unfortunately, I received a BFN today. I was told that I should wait two weeks and try again. Good luck to you.

I'm sorry to hear your news, but please don't get too discouraged. I just found out I got a BFP and I am 43 years old! I think even the doctors didn't hold out much hope for me, but God has other plans! Please continue to pray because it truly worked for me. I will keep you in my prayers as well.
