I'm in the 2 wk wait after having 3 embryo's transferred on Sunday. Two were 9 cell grade 4 and the third was a 5 cell grade 4 also. At my clinic 1 is the highest grade and 5 is the lowest...so I'm not feeling very positive. I'd love to hear from anyone who had success with grade 4 embryo's. Tara

Tara, I haven't experienced grade 4 eggs but wanted to wish you the best. I am in the 2ww and have one week left. They do grade A B C etc. where I go and I had 2 grade A embryos transferred. They were a 6 cell and an 8 cell. Both with Fair symmetry. Keep your chin up. You never know. Is this your first attempt with IVF? Lisa :)

Goodluck VW79girl. Sounds like some really good embryo's were transferred..you should be feeling positive. This is my 6th total IVF attempt. 1st IVF May 04- canceled..no response. 2nd IVF July 04 - canceled...4 eggs but all bad quality. 3rd IVF Sept 04 - 10 mature eggs/7 fertilized - 2 transferred. Healthy son born May 05. 4th IVF Sept 06- Frozen transfer - chem pg loss at 5 wks. 5th IVF - Jan 07 - 2 mature eggs...1st beta was 13. 2nd beta...0. 6 IVF -May 07 - 6 mature eggs...3 fertalized and all 3 transferred...beta this Thurs.
Praying for one more miracle and be done with this long process!

Good luck to you too Tara. I hope this Thurs. will be a good day for both of us and anyone else with a first beta that day. I have had the weird cramping that I had last time so I am hoping that is a good sign. The cramps are different than af cramps but I can't really explain it. I too have been really tired. Headachy too but that could be just a coincidence. I am praying for a miracle for us, it's been almost four years and it feels like so much longer than that.
