Hi everyone! I am so sorry Valerie! I hope you are doing ok!

I found out I'm having twins! I've been very sick lately! I went last monday and saw 2 strong heartbeats and they measured perfect!
So then this morning I went to pee and had a red streak on the paper when I wiped! no cramping. AHHHH It never ends!! I called the doctor who said not to worry since I had seen the heartbeats. This was at 9 am and now noon and have not seen any more STAY AWAY!!
I hope everyone is well!!

I am so happy this site is back in working order. Valerie I am so sad to heaqr your loss. Hopefully with the warm weather will spring new life. Congrat Jaimee, that is wonderful. I am working on my fifth iui- I don't know why bother- I knew the 4th would be a bust too but I am buying my time till June when I start a new journey of IVF. My Dr. upped my clomid to 100mg. I had a field trip to Washington DC with 300 students and was so scared of how it may affect me but nothing major- lil crampy but... Until next time- much luck to all. Get out and enjoy the sunshine.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! :) How many embroys were implanted? Which fertility treatment (e.g. iui, ivf, etc) did you use? What were the cell grades? Take it easy and keep us posted with your exciting news...

Hi All,

I have been in this room before, back in Feb for my first IUI, which failed. I did my second IUI just this month, as my RE was out of town for my March cycle. It has been devastating that this site has been down throught much of my two week wait. Today is two weeks to the day that I did my second IUI and no AF yet. I tested on Friday, because of course I couldn't wait any longer...and it was BFP. I have been cramping off and on since my IUI, but since Tuesday of this week it has been of higher intensity and closer together...it isn't like AF type cramps, it almost feels like when they put the catheter through for the IUI, like an uncomfortable pulling sensation. Normally when AF is coming, I just get crampy a few days before - this has been since IUI, so that is why I am a little concerned...I am taking Prometrium vaginally this time around, 200 mg three times a day - so I guess my question is to anyone who has been on Prometrium or knows about it - does it cause cramping and does it delay your menstrual cycle? Should I test again, or wait it out - aggghhh I hate this two week wait! That is my only symptom along with VERY sore bbs, since last week.

Sorry I meant my test was BFN....whew - getting way ahead of myself.....

Hi Jaimelee. It looks like FET will take place until end of May or June depending on how things go well with the labs, u/s, etc. I have two 8 cells embroys in the cryoperservation but don't know the grade. I will ask on the day of FET. Needless to say, RE told me that it is a possibility frozen embroys may or may not not survive during thawing. I won't know a couple of days prior to FET or on that day. It's nerve wrecking!

I assumed you had your IVF with fresh embroys. Right?

I did 2 fresh cycles. I only had 1 left from my first failed cycle which I didn't want to risk it not working so I did another fresh. I know this whole process is nerve wrecking! Good luck!!

I will assume no one has any answers to my questions, since no one replied.

Hi VTB

Promentrium does cause some cramping and it will delay your period....I should say can instead of will. It also causes sore BB and can cause lower back pain.

jamielee - April 23

Hi VTB, sorry I did not respond I am not familiar with your meds or iui but about 4 days before my preg test I started getting strange cramps some strong at times and they seemed to get stronger as well and I got a bfp. I hope that helps a little! I was on progesterone injections.

trababy - April 23

VTB I am unfamiliar with the meds you take- I am 100 mg of clomid for the first time (I was at 50) I am doing my fifth iui this month- my hopes are low bc of doing so many but I am moving onto IVF in June. I wish you luck.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your posts. Looks like I am not pregnant again this cycle. Still no period, but I called my RE today and told her I tested twice and both BFN and she said Prometrium delays your period and if It is BFN, then I am likely not pregnant and to stop the Prometrium and AF will come in the next few days.....It does also cause the cramping.

Had my fifth iui today- it will be my last one. Next month we start IVF- I wish I could have just begun that instead of this iui- my exspectations are extremely low. Right now I am at the tail end of a cold and my head hurts bad - the tylenol has not worked. I went to acupuncture yesterday- she mentioned she was doing a double treatment bc of the cold- but honestly I don't think whatever she did worked. I am starting to think that I am wasting my money. I have to go back tomorrow for a second iui round- which means I have to take off work bc they only do it in the morning. So annoying. Hope all is well with everyone.

Hello trababy and vtb

I posted on this site when I was doing my last IUI and was in my 2ww. I am currently in my 2ww of my 1st IVF. I am glad that we moved onto the big guns and can tell you trababy I feel it is not as bad as the IUI's. Ok it might be more invasive but I feel alot more optmistic and happy doing this than I ever did with the IUI's. I also found out that my egg quality was good and that they were fertilizing all on their own, which was someone I was concerned with. You get to find out heaps that you are wondering about. We transferred 2 5 day embryo's as they all made it to that which is great and I am currently 6 days post transfer and have a beta test next Friday. I feel for you trababy as I was there in Feb this year and losing hope with every minute. I feel that this was the right step at the right time as will yours be. Good luck
