Hi Girls~
question:
anyone here ever experience a chemical pregnancy where you find out you are pregnant and then your numbers decrease down to pretty much nothing within a week or so? if yes...were you successful with a pregnancy afterwards? I would love any feedback even if you have a friend who had a success story. My husband and I did our first cycle of IVF and had this happen. I am currently on BCP's and will do another cycle at the end of April. Very frustrating and I am feeling so down. I just want to start another cycle.

Hi Lisa, I remember reading your posts. I'm sorry for what happened. I am not familiar with this but I have heard of this happening and then going on to have a normal pregnancy!
Don't give up I'm sure you will get pregnant! I lost a pregnancy due to an ectopic pregnancy so I can relate on that level.

Yes it can be. Mine was not removed until I was almost 11 weeks pregnant it was a nightmare and very painful! They kept telling me they didn't see it and it probley absorbed into my body.
It was very depressing and it was hard for me to find hope, but here I am, pregnant again and praying everything is ok!! I don't have many symptoms which is why I'm nervous but my doctor said my bloodwork looked very good.

How far along are you?
I honestly hate these mild cramps I am having. It makes me soooooo nervous!
I can't wait until I have any kind of news.

I am only 5 weeks and 3 days so I know its still early!
I had those cramps also at the end of my 2ww and spotting the day before my test. I wouldn't worry about the cramps they are very normal!

Hi girls
I have to ask a bizarre question since you already made me feel better about the cramping. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I become gassy the week before my period. Well, that is happening as usual. Did anyone else have this experience? I know, kind of gross but that is what I am worried about now...

I am trying to keep the faith. I will just be happy to be doing the 2ww again. Remind me when I am antsy and complaining about the 2ww that I said that.
As far as the cramping girlies, I remember worrying and honestly...they felt a little different from PMS cramps. It's a good thing.
I am so thankful for this site. You are all very helpful to talk and listen to.

Lindsay- during my 2ww i was so constipated and at the same time had gases and actully i still have them till now. but i also have irritable bowl syndrome so my stomach is not well most of the time. But keep the faith and you will very soon get a BFP.
RGerber- cramps are a good sign. If they come and go it is a good sign. they wake me up every morning.
Lisa- so sorry about your last pregnancy i never heard of anyone who had that but i am sure you will be fine this time. stay positive.
Jamie- i am with you in the same boat i don't have much symptoms and it worries me too. But my doctor last night told me that it is ok they will come later on. He said not to worry as long as the beta is doubling then that is what's important. When do you go for your scan? Please keep me posted on what is going on with you as i am 6 days behind you. my due date is december 6, yours is december 1st right? I hope everything goes well for all of us.

Hi All...I am new to the site, and love hearing all of your stories.
I am 9 dpiui and going insane. One minute I am convinced it worked, then I get a pimple and feel AF is on the way. I am crampy, have been all along but nothing else. It really worries me that I don't have sore bb's! I get to test this Sat., but I am ready to run to the drug store now (2:45am) for a hpt!

Thanks Nadia! They do come and go but thankfully not waking me up in the morning. That is my brain's job! ;)
Ellen - If you can, try and remember that at the end of the day everyone's symptoms are a little different so don't get discouraged!
My doctor really frowned upon me doing a hpt but I am with you! Did any of you other ladies do a hpt?

Welcome Ellen, Is this your first iui? I just had my fourth and I am on day 3 and already going insane- with each one I tell myself I will not think about it as much but it is tough. Every morning I have cramps- gassy nervous type of cramps- I am sure it is from the meds. Have you had this? My last iui I dod not feel a thing- not a twinge. But I kept htinking "this is #3 and don't things happen in 3s" so I associated the # w/ luck and really brought my hopes up high. What a let down. I really didn't want to do yet another round but I cannot do IVF until June so I guess I might as well ride them out so to speak. I find myself constantly researching things I have researched over and over- a little obsessed- or I am just ignoring my work- I am not sure which. Good luck please let us know how it turns out. Do you have any cramping? I always get nervous around day ten too especially if I don't have sore bb's. I get a slight tingle and the hope is raised but truly I have never had real sore bb's and I wait for them. See- insane.

Robin- I did a hpt two days before my blood test....I got a negative and spent the entire day crying. Two days later...blood test showed positive!!
I spent an entire day in misery for nothing!! I think you have to be careful...
I did IVF so it may be different.....I took the hpt on day 8 and the blood test was on day 10
my beta was low so that's probably why the hpt was negative.
Doc says it could be late implantation.
my cramps come and go but they are much milder now. Still have sore BB's although some days ...not bad at all and other days really sore.
I also spotted 6 days in a row all in week 2
Now I just have sore BB's, tired in the afternoon and anxious for my next blood test and scan

Robin - i really think you should wait don't rush into doing a hpt cause i think it is to early to predict the hcg hormone.
Valerie - how far are you in your pregnancy? I dont'have sore boobs that much just a little bit should that scary me you think? but i am dizzy all the time and very tired and i sleep a lot. cramps in the morning but they are mild. That is about it for me. when do you go for your scan? i still have a week i hope it passes by quickly and i hope things go well for me. Keep me posted on what's going on with you and good luck.
