donor quality

hi, i just completed a donor cycle. It was my 3rd cycle with the clinic, and they promised me a proven donor under 30 (previous 2 cycles were one negative, and one mid term pregnancy loss). Donor made 12 eggs: 2 were immature, 3 abnormal fertilisation; 7 made day 3, and 5 made it to day 5.

i was told 2 blasts were excellent (no image shown). We transferred the 2, plus one under observation. I had a good day 14 beta, but which slowed dramatically by day 20, and ended up with a doubling time of 34 DAYS by 6 weeks, and a retarded embryo.

I then discovered the donor was 34, and the 3 blastocysts (images sent after much asking) looked very poor. the clinic said 2 were top quality, but the evidence contradicts this. Surely this is not acceptable. i am not sure exactly how to begin the conversation with them.

i did a earlier donor cycle, at a different clinic a few years earlier - 2 day 3 embryos, 23 year old donor, and resulted in a healthy twin pregnancy. My betas were excellent and took off exponentially. i feel this top European clinic is at fault, and the donor was a failure. i am devastated. My endometrium and uterus both work perfectly, and I have several biological children of my own.

i am devastated, as the donor could not have had good eggs, and was on the wrong end of being a donor. Any advice? It's been suggested i should ask for a free cycle. i am nervous they could do the same again.

please do reply, london lady
