Can anyone share where they got their nursery furniture (cribs, mattresses, etc. and if they are happy with it? There are so many out there, it is overwhelming...

Thanks!

We are using the same furniute we had with our DD. We got it out of the JC Pennys catalog. I looked everywhere, and couldn't believe the prices they wanted for the stuff and I thought Pennys stuff looked just as nice as most and a lot cheaper, especially with the 30% off coupon my mom had! Now, I say it looked just as nice, that depends if you are looking for the really high end fancy stuff or not. I am a more simple kind of person when it comes to furniture.

I also had a friend that bought a crib and really liked the pottery barn stuff. She found a furniture maker and gave him a picture of what she liked and he built it for them just the same as the picture. Her husband just had to paint it white.

It is hard to choose.

Do any of you know how you are going to decorate? I got the Kimberly Grant Farmyard bedding online. I struggled with that too. I couldn't find anything I liked forever!

I haven't bought anything yet.. BUT.. i have been looking.. you are right... there are a lot of expensive things out there.... BUT.. have you tried IKEA? I was looking at some Ikea stuff.. and then had gone to Pottery barn kids... and saw virtually the SAME things... but obviosuly at IKEA they are much cheaper!

It is worth checking out.. plus they have all that fun stuff to help with decorating.. and I am not sure... but seeing as they do have bedding for adults.. I wonder if they have baby bedding as well? It is worth a look.. we will be heading soon to buy some supplies.. I'll let you know how it goes!
