Hi lili,
I will find out on Tuesday when it will be, I hope they give me a say in it but probably not! I can't believe only one u/s!! I have had at least 15 only because of being high risk due to twins and all the bleeding in the beginning!
I have a 4 1/2 year old son who is really excited about having 2 brothers! I think we talked about being the only girls in the house!! All boys here!
well talk to you later

Hello to all

Jenny- I am not sure what that test is you are having but we seem to have lots so. I had a blood test about a week before I had my scan and they scanned for about 30mins checking it all out. I go for another big scan on Nov 8th. I have felt a little sick this week and I thought that was supposed to end in the 2nd trimester. Can't believe I have made it.

Jamie - how exciting that you are so close and to hear that they are good sizes that must be a relief.

Beth- I feel for you with your severe morning sickness, I felt bad for a few weeks but nothing like what you have had.

Well I feel like I have grown heaps this week and my belly has popped out, even DH said something. I feel a bit hot and bothered though as it is getting really hot here. Anyway ladies have a great weekend

Well ladies, I received a call for the OB yesterday telling me that I went to early for the bloodtest that I did earlier this week. Would have been nice for someone to tell me when I really needed or was supposed to go. Maybe the dr's office told me when they gave me the lab slip and I just forgot. It is very possible. I am supposed to go when I am at least 15 weeks.

Beth - Congratulations on the baby girl!!! Any names? HOw are you feeling?

Eddie - my 18 week u/s is on the 1st of November. Hopefully the baby will cooperate and we can see what it is. How are you doing these days? I know it is so hard to believe that we made it to the second trimester. I thank God everyday for this pregnancy. There really is no other word the a true miracle.

Everyone else - I am jealous that your days are so close. I can't wait to be in your shoes and be that close to holding my precious little one. Best of luck and let us know how everything goes. I am sure you all will when you find time between feedings, cryings, and diapers. LOL!!!!

Talk to you all later.

Hello everyone,

I hope this post finds you all in good health. This morning was another horrible day for the books. I woke up to find that I needed to go to the emergency room immediately. To find that I had a M/C. They took my levels and it had dropped overnight. My progesterone was only at 4.5 to begin with. The HCG only had gotten up to 404. So DH and I both kind of figured we would just pray and hope all goes well. And it didn't. He is taking this alot better than me. We know now that everything that was wrong with me mysteriously went away or just fixed itself ( for lack of exlpanation .) He is just so excited to know that we don't need any help anymore. I guess I should take comfort in that as well. But, all I keep thinking is that it is happening all over again. I don't mean to bring anyone down. I just needed to say it out loud so to speak. I have turned my phone off. And, he has turned our friends and family away. I just don't have the strength to see or hear from anyone right now. We know that my progesterone was the deciding factor this time. Does anyone know what I can do to prepare?

jamielee - October 6

Snoopy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I don't blame you for turning friends and family away (I have been there) you need some time to yourself. Its reassuring to know that its your progesterone because you can use the progesterone injections or the suppositories to keep your levels up. I know its a hard time but keep in mind that you CAN get pregnant and there are means to help you stay pregnant next time around. Best of luck to you!!
Jamie

JENNY22074 - October 6

Snoopy, so sorry to hear of your loss. I have been there before and understand your grief. My first pregnancy was a month after I stopped clomid pills. So I guess in a way it was natural since I was never told how long clomid stays in your system. I also had low progesterone in that pregnancy which actually resulted in a blighted ovum. There was just an empty egg sac. My levels were in the thousands though and never doubled. I still had fertility treatments because a pregnancy nver happened after that. It is very devastating to all involved. I started a journal to write to all my children past, present and future. It was very helpful and still is. I was able to document all of our journeys, surgeries, treatments, etc... I also figured that if I ever had a little girl she may need to know that if she had problems starting a family or even if a son were to have something wrong. Plus it was a way to heal and let our child know what trials we had to go through in order to have him/her. It is just a suggestion and it does not work for everyone but it may help especially in those hours that you feel there is no one to listen or understand. Take care and I will be praying for you through your healing journey. Best wishes and again I am so sorry for your loss.

jamielee - October 7

Hi Beth, Congrats on the girl thats great! Its so reassuring having the level 2 because they can see everything!!

bdantonio - October 7

Snoopy: Sorry to hear of your lose. I know how you feel. I have pushed everyone away at times, not because you dont love them but you get tired of the questions and the reasons that they try to give you for example the god has a plan excuse. Well after about my third i though gods plan sucked. I have been going through fertility off and on for 5 years. I ahve conceived naturally in the past however i need to progestrone like you to carry. I advise you to stay with a re. If you need progestrone and you are trying naturally they still need to monitor you so that you get the progestrone as soon as you O to avoid a lose. However if you need to vent or just talk you can post to me or e-mail me. After 5 m/c i know the dark side. [email protected], that goes to anyone else who wants to talk privately i have no problem with you e-mailing me.

Jenny: I didnt do a journal forsay however i wrote a letter to my 1st daughter and this one during the fertility time and one at each trimester. I also still do one at each birthday. HOwever i have started a book on a womens journey through fertility and the topics not discussed.

Eddie - October 7

Hi All,

How are you all going?

Sorry Snoopy to hear of your m/c. It never gets any easier.Take some time for yourself and your husband.

Well I woke up yesterday and have yet another cold, can't seem to get through 6 weeks without having a cold and they are not just your everyday cold, they suck. I don't know what else to do I think I am looking after myself, eating well and sleeping. I am having my own little pity party :-(
