IVF SIDE EFFECTS-NORMAL BABIES?

HI! I am 35 years old and I decided to do egg freezing. I haven't found the right man to have a child, so I wanted to give myself a chance to get pregnant from my frozen eggs in my 40s.

I am very worried about the drugs I must take for 2 weeks: injections of GANIRELIX or GONAL-F each day, one injection of HCG (gonadotropin) before egg retrieval.
I heard of a girlfriend who had breast cancer and died of it following IVF and another girl who got Blindness after taking Lupron for 2 weeks (it has blindness as side effect). Also, I heard of lots of congenital malformation from children born of IVF.

I REALLY want to do the Egg Freezing, but I am very weary of the side effects of the 2 drugs I will take.
I am sure that many of you girls have used those drugs, I would be so grateful to hear any of your insights on this matter!. Also if any of you had kids, did you experience any complications with the birth or was the baby healthy?
Thank you so much for your support!

Hello. I went thru IVF and used Gonal-F to conceive both of my daughters. They are 6 years old and 2 months old and are both happy and healthy. I did not have any complications. My oldest daughter was conceived thru a fresh cycle and I froze the remaining embryos. My second daughter was conceived via a frozen cycle with the leftover embryos from 6 years ago. In a sense, my daughters are frateral twins six years apart! Isn't that neat?!! Good luck to you!
