Hi,

When I went to my anti-natal class last week the midwife advised me that I would have to eventually take out my belly bar.

I'm not keen to do this as the bar is long enough not to annoy me and I am going to put a pregnancy belly bar in anyway when I need to but the midwife recons the hole will stretch but I don't see how it would as long as the belly bar is long enough.

Does anyone else have any experience regarding this?

Tracy - I no longer have mine due to an infection from body shots one drunken night WAY before I even thought about conceving or starting my ivf cycles...HOwever my cousin and my stepsister all have had theirs in throughout their pregnancy and have been just fine and everything stayed normal looking...They just like you put in the pregnancy bar...Nothing happens to the hole and i don't htink it really would unless syou were getting really stretched with a multiple pregnancy...That would be the only way to really rethink the taking it out part...Where mine used to be the closed up holes have just raised up and where the top of the bar was is now where the bottom part of it is...Hope this helps you out.

my sister in law kept hers in to the day she gave irth with all three of her children. se took it out for labor and delivery then put it rightback in.
