Miscarried....I think

So I am sure my situation isn't new. I had my right tube (my only one) untied at the end of April 2007. On October 9th, I found out I was pregnant. Scared because I was spotting I had an HCG blood test done and showed a very low level of 37. However I expected that I should of been a bit low because I was only 4 weeks since lmp. 48 hrs later so last thursday my level went up to 61. Friday I felt strange so I went to the hosp. My level dropped to 52. The emerg doc said I probably miscarried. I am still spotting but it is faint, and cervix is still closed no tissue no nothing. Friends are telling my I still preg but they just giving me false hope. We really want our 6th child, and not sure when I can try again or when this m/c will be over. I have been spending lots of time crying because I just don't know what to do. Obviously if my level dropped 10mui I have miscarried. What are the chances of this happening again? How soon could we actually get preg again? Thanks for any help / advice I would appreciate it a lot

So I am feeling a bit better today. I started bleeding and cramping very bad last night but in a sense I am glad that it was intense because it is more of a reality to me now. I went to see my doctor finally today and I am able to try again after 1 normal period. I think this for me is bittersweet.... At least I know that the reversal surg worked and I am able to concive! He told me I have a 50-60% chance of this happening again, but it doesn't mean that I will miscarry again. That makes me happy and gives me a new hope that my husband and I can actually have another baby.
