Hello ladies... it's been a couple of wks since we had our f/u appt. Our one & only option to conceive is IVF. My doc informed me that my tubes are definitly blocked. On one sde the blockage is further to uterus opening. He stated that there would be no garauntee with surgery. The reason for the blockage is unknown. There is a possiblity that the scar tissue could have formed after my only pregnancy 9yrs ago. Doc said we can start the process after the holidays in Jan. I'm hopeful & sad at the same time. I feel so many different emotions on a daily basis. Can someone lend a shoulder... :-[

Hi KAL... IVF has a very high success rate. even with blocked tubes.. so I am sure you will be fine.

I know the feeling of being excited and hopeful, yet sad and worried -- what if it doesn't work? So the best you can do is stay positive and read as much as you can about your diagnosis so you know exactly what you ar egetting into. Ask lots of questions... but most importantly.. be positive...
Enjoy the holidays and then prepare and get excited for your IVF in January... Baby Dust!!!

Thank you so much for words of encouragement & Baby Dust baby4us! How are you feeling these days? I noticed that you saw a teeny-tiny heartbeat on October 24th at 8 weeks and again at 12 weeks on Nov. 24th. I'm excited for you and wish you the best of luck. Women with stories such as yours give us waiting TTC hope!
Thanks again!
