where is my period after stopping nursing?

39 years old here, and just had 2nd child 6 months ago (have had 3 losses due to chromosomal abnormalities) via c-section. I completely stopped breastfeeding one month ago, and the month prior to that I was only breastfeeding once every 24 hours. I have had no periods since pregnancy. What is wrong? It seems like most women get their periods back even before completely weaning. I know I have a ton of eggs, b/c my Clomid Challenge results are stellar and on the one injectible/IUI cycle i've done I produced around 15 follicles and the doc wanted to cancel b/c of fear of multiples (we didn't and I got my baby). Anyway, I am seeing my RE in another month if my period doesn't show, but can I ask what could be going on? My c-section was completely textbook-no problems, and recovery was fine too.

There is a list of possible reasons for you not haveing a period, yet. Your RE should evaluate you, and determine which tests to do to find an answer for you.
Good luck.
