Hi Doc,
I am currently 7.5 weeks pregnant from IVF/ICSI with twins. I had an u/s 3 days ago and everything looked good so far. My RE told me to stay on the Progesterone in Oil injections for 1 more week so I would have about 4 more days of it. Does this sound right to you? From what I see on the Internet, people are on it much longer or switch to suppositories but I go to a VERY good RE and definitely trust him. I'm just wondering why it seems like other people are on it for so much longer. Any insight you have would be appreciated.
Thanks!

The placenta (s) start making lots of progesterone at about 8 to 10 weeks of pregnancy. You will probably be OK following your RE's instructions. I check progesterone levels, but they are almost always more than adequate.
Congratulations!
