What effect does a high LH have early on in cycle?

My cd3 tests always show LH of 9 to 15, which they say is "a bit high."
All other values (FSH, E2, TSH, Prolactin, etc.) are always good and normal.
It was once mentioned in passing that a high LH might have to be surpressed using birth control pills (however, they didn't go into great detail about this protocol), but they say generally my LH is "not too far out of line, so let's just see what happens" and basically I guess they're ignoring it for now.
How high is too high for LH in the early cycle, and what effects might it have on the developing follicles/eggs?
I should mention that I'm on Femara + Gonal-f, and my LH usually drops to around 5 by CD10 and stays there until I surge.

The effect of LH on the egg is unclear. Many practices use some LH in ther IVF stimulations. We find we get better quality eggs and embryos if we do not add LH.
