Dr.,

My RE would like to remove my right tube due. The nurse said they only schedule surgeries on days 7-14 of your cycle. Is this common, do you know why it can't be done after day 14?

Thank you.

I assume your tube needs to be removed because it is damaged and filled with fluid. As a general rule, we try to avoid doinfg a procedure, which could potentially disrupt an early pregnancy - that is after you ovulate. I do not know if that is a valid concern, in your case.
Good luck.

Yes, the rule is AFTER day 7 when menses should have ended and before day 14, more common day of Ovulation. They dont want to risk ending a pg.
