Dear Dr.Jacob I had tubaligation 11 years ago. One year prior to that I had an ectopic pregnancy, now I am thinking of going with tubaligation or IVF? will it be possible to have another pregnancy if I go with tubaligation since I had ectopic in the past? Please suggest me which is best for my case IVF or tubaligation. Now I am 34 years old. I am very confused.
Thanks for your time Jikki

Even if you had not had a previous tubal pregnancy, tubal reversa would leave you with damaged tubes, and, therefore, an increased risk for tubal pregnancy. IVF is far safer and more cost effective than tubal reversal. Good luck.
