thyroid tests

Hello,
I was wondering how common it is for a dr. to run a thorough thyroid test. My RE said my thyroid bloodwork came back normal, but I think it was only my T4 that he tested. Isn't it important to also test T1,T2,andT3? I have physical symptoms of hypothyroidism and wondering if this is affecting my fertility- excessive weight gain, fatigure, cold hands/feet, depression, mood swings and as of late I have a lot of hair falling out. I was just wondering if this is something I might further prod my RE to look into or not. Also, do you know anything about treating hypothyroidism with Armour thyroid?

Thanks

The thyroid testing I do is Free T4, the active thyroid hormone in circulation, and TSH, the pituitary hormone which reulates the thyroid gland.
